Manga Mania

漫画の英語直訳は whimsical picture かぁ。Whimsicalって、英語で使う時のイメージから言うと、なるほどって思うけれども、和訳の［形］気まぐれな、風変わりな、移り気なって、英語のイメージとなんか違うなぁ。。 日本語って難しい。。

「漫画」から何を連想しますか？
第二次世界大戦、北斎、セックスではないですよね。（笑）このドキュメンタリーでは日本って、海外からは遠い国だなーって思わせられる内容も多々。

ってか、外人向けのドキュメンタリーなのに、日本人の英語差し替えがなんでわざわざカタカナ英語発音なんだか・・・。

個人的ハイライト：
